Every five minutes, someone in the UK has a stroke. A stroke happens in an instant and can change your life forever. If you've been affected by stroke, then talking about it and meeting others who've been through it can help.
You're not alone - Talk to the people that know
The St Albans and Harpenden Strok Club was founded in ...and is affiliated to the Stroke Assoication. We are a social group for all in the St Albans, Harpenden and the surrounding area who have suffered a stroke or care for someone who has.
Our club organises activities that aim to improve communication and encourage conversation in a comfortable and safe environment. We aim to restore your confidence which may have been shattered by your illness with opportunities for social contacts and outings which members may not otherwise have.
